2017 Patek Philippe 5372 Men’s Grand Complication

A platinum chronograph that exudes elegance, the 5372 Men’s Grand Complication introduced by Patek Philippe in 2017 combines haute horology with practical functionality. The art of classic Swiss watchmaking is on full display on this timepiece. Its polished platinum case and shiny brown alligator strap are beautifully accented by its 18k rose gold dial plate. Blackened gold applied numerals mark the hours with a blue moon-phase indicator adding another classical design element to this grand complication.

The functionality of the 5372 includes apertures displaying  the day of the week, month and leap year. The seconds are displayed on a sub-dial along with the day of the month and a 60-minute counter function. Moon phases are displayed at 12 o’clock and the hour and minutes shown through traditional center hands. This wristwatch features a case diameter of 38.3mm, a depth rating of 30 meters and a power reserve (with chronograph disengaged) of 38 – 48 hours.

A Caliber CHR 27-525 PS Q manually wound mechanical movement powers the functions of this timepiece. It features 31 jewels, 12 bridges and 476 parts with a Gyromax balance. It oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and is backed by the Patek Philippe Seal. For more information on this grand complication, visit patek.com.
