The Rolex Submariner Ceramic 116600 comes equipped with a new utilitarian Glidelock Clasp. Rolex has managed to maintain the ever-popular 40mm size for this latest model, but they have overhauled and updated many details. The Rolex Submariner Ceramic comes in Two-Tone, Yellow Gold, White Gold, and Stainless Steel versions, all of whose bezels are now more resistant to scratches, thanks to the ceramic update from Rolex. As usual, Rolex maintains their technological edge with the Sub Ceramic, while still maintaing the classic beauty that we’ve always appreciated from our Rolex Submariner models over the years.
After the recent Panerai Bronzo, it’s exciting to see Officine Panerai presenting even more innovative watch additions via their 2013 collection. New technology has once again been introduced for Panerai fans this year, as we lay our eyes upon the new Panerai Luminor Submersible lineup: In the photos above, starting at the left, two versions of the simple automatic. The black ceramic case (Ceramica; PAM508 ; limited release of 1000 pieces) and the titanium (Titanio; PAM367; limited release of 500 pieces). Lastly, we see the PAM507 Bronzo (CuSn8, an alloy of copper and tin in the pure state). This Panerai in Bronze is unfortunately also limited to 1000 pieces. It would be nice if Panerai produced more quantities, however the connoisseur collectors will be happy with these new delectable choices.
Highlights of this year from Panerai include the all new PAM526 Luminor 1950 Regatta 3 Days Chrono Flyback Titanio 47mm. Although the color details are fresh and attractive, it would have been nice if the Panerai 526 Regatta was 44mm instead of 47. Panerai has a tendency to release their latest models in 47mm, even though the smaller case size would be more wearable for most. The Panerai 526 Regatta is still a great addition to the Panerai watch lineup.
Below is a Panerai side view showing the new 526 Regatta functions…

The Rolex Daytona now has it’s very own Red Devil Rubber B… which in this photo, is further complimented by a Rolex Daytona Panda dial. The Rolex Daytona originally comes on a crocodile strap, which cannot be worn for bathing, swimming, and sport activities. A leather Rolex watch band must be replaced regularly, as it fades, cracks, and develops unpleasant odor. This is one more reason to step up to a luxury vulcanized rubber strap which has a Rolex quality fit, but lasts for years of active lifestyle with no signs of wear and tear.
