Rolex’s Yacht-Master model is unique in that it is available in three sizes: 40mm, 37mm and 35mm. It looks and functions more like a Submariner than the Yacht-Master II, with a bidirectional 60-minute graduated bezel and luminescent Chromalight display. The 35mm version shown above (Reference # 168623) features a blue dial and an 18 karat gold bezel with raised polished numerals and graduations on a sand-blasted bezel. Fitted with a 2235 movement manufactured in-house by Rolex, this model has a power reserve of 48 hours and a depth rating of 100 meters.
The Yacht-Master is one of the more elegant watches in Rolex’s professional line. The 35mm model configurations feature bezels made from precious metals (either 18 karat yellow gold or 950 platinum) and dials in either blue, white, steel, gold, platinum or black mother of pearl. Its sporty yet distinguished aesthetic is deal for spending time on the deck of a yacht or cruise ship. This midsize version harkens back to classic wristwatch models of the 20th century.
