The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Reference 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01 has superior balance by adding a second balance wheel and balance spring assembly on the same axis. This improves precision and stability to an already outstanding timepiece.
It has a 41mm case with a 9.9mm thickness. The case and bracelet are made from stainless steel. The bezel has the AP screws visible at each of the 8 points of the octagonal design. The 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01 is protected by a screw-locked crown and a glareproofed sapphire crystal – providing water resistance to 50 meters.
The 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01 is a self-winding mechanism powered by a Manufacture Calibre 3132 which contains 245 parts, 38 jewels, and has a 45 hour power reserve. The dial is openworked from slate grey coloring and touches of pink gold, revealing the beauty of the 3132. The hour markets and hands are also made from pink gold, and applied with luminescent coating.
