The Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5712 first appeared in 2005 and labeled as ref. 3712. It has a date indicator with an embedded moon phase indicator inside the date dial, a small seconds dial and a power reserve indicator. It has the same porthole design found in yachts and other seagoing vessels. Developed in 1976 the Nautilus line has become an iconic and highly recognizable design. The 40mm case is available in stainless steel, white gold, and 18k rose gold.
The Nautilus ref. 5712 has an embossed slate grey dial. The hour markers and hour/minute hands are in white gold and painted with luminescence to provide exceptional night time visibility. The 5712 is powered by a Patek Philippe automatic calibre 240 Petite Seconde, Indicateur de Réserve de Marche, Calendrier and Phases de Lune which provides 48 hours of reserve power.
No matter which Nautilus 5712 (on leather strap) you own, Rubber B has a beautiful watch band to complement your personality. This strap is compatible with the models which come on a leather/crocodile strap, not the models that come on a steel or gold bracelet. Rubber B has specifically designed their straps with strong vulcanized rubber to perfectly fit the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712 case and deployant buckle.
All Rubber B straps are made in Switzerland of pure vulcanized rubber with no coating, blends or bonding. These watch bands are designed to fit all wrist sizes, and are hypo-allergenic. Although the Rubber B straps for the Nautilus 5712 are exceptionally beautiful, they are made for sports enthusiasts and can be comfortably worn at the beach and at the boardroom.
