The Daniel Craig watch and car collection is certainly something he has worked on before he adopted the 007 role for himself. Early in the Bond Series, both Ian Flemming and Sean Connery were known to have worn Rolex Submariners. However, over the course of time, many other watches have been worn by 007. Currently the franchise has tied itself to the Omega line, and with each new movie, it presents a new version of an Omega timepiece. For Daniel Craig’s first movie, this was an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with 600 meters of waterproofness.
In many ways, Quantum of Solace really ended up being a part 2 of Casino Royale. If the patina in the previous Omega was worthy of consideration, this Omega Seamaster is clearly its superior. The yellow-orange luminescent coloring is added not only on the hour, minute, second hands and hour markers, but also matches the coloring around the bezel. The timepiece has the distinct look of a vintage timepiece, but is a powerful workhorse – a chronometer with 1000 feet of waterproofness capability.

The first picture at the top of this article shows Daniel Craig’s most expensive timepiece – the vintage Paul Newman Rolex Daytona reference 6263. This is quite literally one of the most expensive pieces in the Daniel Craig watch and car collection. It goes for around $100,000 today and some might go for millions at auction.
The Paul Newman heirloom 6263 went for $17.8 million. Could the same timepiece owned by 007 himself one day go for the same price or more? Only time will tell. Certainly the 6263 Craig owns is in far better physical condition than the one formerly owned by Newman – subsequently gifted to his daughter’s friend.
Sean Connery made the Submariner 6538 famous when he wore the timepiece in Dr. No, among other films. The timepiece he wore had an undersized NATO band not unlike the Omega Spectre band above. Daniel Craig certainly knows his Bond history when he acquired this vintage Submariner.
Daniel Craig owns several new Rolex timepieces. One of his best is the GMT Master II. This is a fine timepiece for the globetrotting actor. Rather than just collecting a standard timepiece, Craig chose to pick up this rare modified Project X Rolex Submariner. He is sporting a NATO style strap and you can see that the crown protector lugs have been completely removed.
The final installment in the Daniel Craig Watch and Car collection is this beautiful Rolex Milgauss with lightning bolt seconds hand. The green lume on the sapphire crystal is both stunning and eye-catching. Although this timepiece doesn’t shoot lasers or have a saw to cut through steel bars, the thunderbolt hand gives the impression that it could.
