The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S reference RDDBEX0686 is the result of an exclusive partnership between Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini. The result is a limited edition and exclusive timepiece with only 88 pieces produced.
The RDDBEX0686 combines touches of neptune blue in the numbering around the bezel and on the winding crown, combined with red touches inside the dial and on the inner bezel. The piece is 100% skeletonized from the case to the movement.
The 45mm case is made from C-SMC carbon and is tested for water resistance to 50 meters. The dial is also made from C-SMC carbon but has black and red flange and rhodium plated hour markers filled with luminous white SLN. The hour and minutes hands are 18k black PVD gold with luminous tips. A center seconds hand is painted in red and slices through the black PVD skeleton with speed and precision. The back side of the case shows the Aventador S logo.
The strap is a dual material combination of a black rubber base and blue tire inlay with red stitching. The titanium black DLC clasp has an adjustable folding buckle and the Roger Dubuis unique quick release system.
The RDDBEX0686 is powered by a hand-wound calibre RD103SQ with a 40 hour power reserve. It is the first Roger Dubuis built with a double spring balance and differential. This caliber is made with 312 components, an astounding 48 jewels and beats at a frequency of 57,600 vph. It has hours, minutes, jumping seconds hands and a power reserve indicator. Decorated with Anthracite grey NAC treatment, the claiber RD103SQ is shot-blasted and adorned with circular grained blate and bridges and Poinçon de Genève finishings.
The Excalibur Aventador S is powered by “Raging Mechanics”. It was conceived with 2 x 45 degree v-shapes spring balances. It has autonomous stability programming, a weight-reduction mechanism, quick-friction optimization, and G-force anti-ejection reinforcement. The result is an awe-inspiring high-performance timepiece.

Rubber B collaborated with Roger Dubuis to design the Official bracelet collection for the DDBEX0686. This Vulcanized Rubber strap is specifically engineered for the 45mm case and deployment clasp with the “quick-release” system. All Rubber B straps are made in Switzerland utilizing pure, natural vulcanized rubber with no coatings or blends.
The engineered blocked integration creates a rotation-free mount. The strap can also integrate perfectly with the original Roger Dubuis deployant buckle. Above we see the Roger Dubuis RDDBEX0686 with black rubber and blue stitching along with a band with white rubber and red stitching.
