The Roger Dubuis RDDBEX0704
Roger Dubuis has an exclusive partnership with Pirelli. Pirelli is the sole supplier of premium tyres to racing competitions. The Excalibur Spider Pirelli uses the famous color codes of Pirelli. It draws the rubber inlays from certified Pirelli winning tyres. Similarly, Roger Dubuis adorns the 704 with legendary tread motifs of the Pirelli Cinturato intermediate tyre. They only produced 88 units of this exceptional timepiece.
The 45mm skeleton case has black DLC titanium. It has touches of orange around the bezel. The hour markers have with rhodium plating and are filled with luminous SLN. The hands are 18k gold with black PVD with orange transfer and white luminous SLN tips.
A Custom Caliber
The RD820SQ automatic caliber powers the RDDBEX0704. It has 167 hand-finished parts with circular grained plates and Poinçon de Genève finishings. It utilizes 35 jewels. Beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph). Has a power reserve of 60 hours. The RDDBEX0704 has a sapphire glass crystal on both sides of the timepiece. It supports a water resistance to 50 meters.
The timepiece comes with a bi-material strap with a black rubber base. It incorporates black Pirelli winning tyre rubber inlay. It has orange stitching. A black DLC titanium adjustable folding buckle completes the band. Roger Dubuis patented its quick release system.
Designer Roger Dubois Bracelets
Rubber B collaborated with Roger Dubuis to design the official bracelet for the RDDBEX0704. This Vulcanized Rubber strap is engineered for the 45mm case and deployment clasp with the quick-release system. Rubber B makes all its products in Switzerland. Each band uses natural vulcanized rubber. No coatings or blends are used.
The blocked integration creates a rotation-free mount. The strap integrates perfectly with the original Roger Dubuis deployant buckle. Above, we see two straps. One with orange rubber and orange stitching. And one with black rubber and black stitching. Many more coloring options are available.
