Roger Dubuis is one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world. Dubuis creates limited productions and unique pieces which are built with the Hallmark of Geneva seal by the Poinçon de Genève–guaranteeing durability, performance, water resistance, and precision. Each component is hand-crafted and decorated with expert artistry and built with techniques and materials that virtually guarantee the movement an unlimited lifespan. Of the 20 million watches produced in Switzerland each year, only 24,000 bear the Hallmark of Geneva.
The Skeleton Flying Tourbillon reference RDDBEX0573 is a limited edition production with only 88 hand-crafted pieces ever produced. The 45 mm Black DLC Carbon Titanium case supports 5 bar of water resistance and is protected by a sapphire crystal over the skeleton dial.
Roger Dubuis is noteworthy for creating extremely minimalistic designs. The RDDBEX0573 exhibits multi-layers of carbon and a tourbillon carriage in the shame of a Celtic cross. The base is a carbon honeycomb which appears in black and silver between the plate and bridges.
The RDDBEX0573 is powered by a caliber RD820SQ containing 167 components, 35 jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph. The Skeleton Flying Tourbillon reference RDDBEX0573 pictured above is a hand-wound mechanical caliber with a 60 hour power reserve.
Rubber B and Roger Dubuis collaborated to create the Official and Exclusive strap for the Excalibur Spider 45 mm case and deployment clasp. This is engineered to work with the quick-release system of the Excalibur Spider but can also support models that do not come with the quick-release.
As with all Rubber B bands, these bands are 100% waterproof. This band is made in Switzerland of pure natural vulcanized rubber and features “blocked integration” for a rotation-free mount. The deployment clasp is not included with the band.
There are several colors and stitchings available to allow the Roger Dubuis collector a tremendous number of style options. Owners can choose Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Orange, or White and then further select the thread color to stitch with. For more information go to the customization page here.
