Lopez made his formal acting debut in 1984 on the ABC sitcom a.k.a. Pablo<\/em>, which starred noted Latino comedian Paul Rodriguez, but was not well-received and only lasted for six episodes. He would make guest appearances on other programs throughout the 1980\u2019s, but by the end of the decade, he would come to national prominence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A.C. Slater and Saved By The Bell<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mario Lopez is most remembered by audiences today for playing the role of A.C. Slater on the sitcom Saved By The Bell, <\/em>which originally aired from 1989-1993. He would continue that role on the spin-off show, Saved by the Bell: The College Years, <\/em>which aired from 1993-1994.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saved by the Bell <\/em>is still popular with viewers today, and the original sitcom received a revival in 2020, with almost the entirety of the original cast, including Mario Lopez, reprising their parts from the original show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
