The Tudor Black Bay line of luxury timepieces has made quite an impression on the industry since its birth in 2013. These watches combined classic elements with some modern flair in order to create something that all watch-wearing age demographics could appreciate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the Black Bay 58 came along in 2018, which built upon many of the concepts present in the Black Bay 41 while making changes in other areas. It caused quite a stir when it was first released, but the hype has not died down. It is still quite difficult to get; be prepared to wait. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Black Bay 41 has largely been a success since its release in 2013, it has not been without its critics. The most popular complaint is probably related to its thickness, at 14.75 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a sports watch, so the thickness and width of the watch should be conducive to everyday wear and tear. While the watch itself is sturdy, it is a little too thick for some. Although there is nothing wrong with a 41 mm case width, a watch this tall can tend to get caught on long sleeves and is more likely to knock into things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Black Bay 41 certainly comes with the style, movement, and materials for consistent usage, but its size can be a bother. Tudor learned from this before they released the Black Bay 58.<\/p>\n\n\n
