The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Reference RDDBEX0624 is an exceptional masterpiece ultra-limited edition timepiece made in partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse.  It was developed in 2017 and features the standard functions of the hours, minutes, and seconds.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this is where this timepiece pulls away from the competition.  It combines the visionary design of Roger Dubuis horological experts inspired by the supercar design codes of the Lamborghini engineering team.  The result is the fastest looking watch on either side of the Atlantic Ocean.  With hot-rod orange touches throughout and a band that looks like racing tires, the Excalibur Aventador S looks like it is ready to take you to finish line in record speed.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excalibur Aventador S<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The 45 mm case is made from C-SMC carbon.  The dial is a skeleton design with rhodium plating, with black and orange flanges.   White luminous SLN on the hour markers creates legibility at night.  The hands are made from 18k gold and are covered with orange transfer and enhanced with luminous SLN tips for visibility in the dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Touches of orange are displayed throughout the bezel – on the middle ring, on the numerals around the bezel, and on the inner bezel where it marks the seconds.  The bright orange seconds hand adds a stunning contrast to the stark black skeleton dial – as does the large orange winding crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sapphire crystal almost appears to disappear, revealing the skeleton engine beneath its scratch-resistant glass.   Even if you are not an owner of a Lamborghini Aventador already, this is the timepiece that would admit you into the elite club.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caliber RD103SQ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Reference RDDBEX0624 is powered by a hand-wound caliber RD103SQ which beats at a frequency of 2 x 28,800 vph (4 Hz) resulting in 57,600 vph.  It is built with 48 jewels and 312 parts.  It has double spring balances and has a power reserve of 40 hours.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the hours, minutes, and jumping seconds it has a power-reserve indicator which resembles the front engine of a super race car. In fact, the inside of the timepiece looks like you are looking under the hood of a high-performance Italian automobile. It has its cross beams that stretch across the body to hold the powerful engine in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anti-reflective sapphire crystal appears on both the front and the case back.   It has a water-resistance of 165 feet.  The strap is a bi-material with black rubber base and black rubber-tech inlay with orange stitching and a titanium black DLC adjustable folding buckle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rubber B collaborated with Roger Dubuis<\/a> to design the official bracelet collection for the RDDBEX0624.  This Vulcanized Rubber strap is specifically engineered for the 45mm case and deployment clasp with the \u201cquick-release\u201d system.  All Rubber B straps are made in Switzerland utilizing pure, natural vulcanized rubber with no coatings or blends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The engineered blocked integration creates a rotation-free mount.  The strap can also integrate perfectly with the original Roger Dubuis deployant buckle.  Above we see two straps \u2013 one with orange rubber and orange stitching, and one with black rubber and black stitching.
