The Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck Heritage Perpetual Calendar Leather Watchband was introduced in 2014 with the Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck Heritage Perpetual Calendar collection.\u00a0 It was inspired by their Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck fountain pen and celebrating the 90-year anniversary since their first writing utensil was created.\u00a0 The reference number is 110715 and comes with the name meisterst\u00fcck<\/em> is German for \u201cmasterpiece\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Meisterst\u00fcck Heritage Perpetual Calendar has a 39 mm stainless steel case and a black leather watchband with a tang clasp and a 22 lug width.\u00a0 \u00a0It is powered by an automatic movement Montblanc Calibre MB 29.15 with a 42-hour power reserve.\u00a0 This caliber is based upon Sellita SW300-1, containing 25 Jewels, bitting at 28800 vph.\u00a0 It has a perpetual calendar feature with a moon phase, leap year, month, date, day, hour, and minute hands.\u00a0 It is water-resistant up to 30 meters, or 100 ft. It has a see-through caseback with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on both sides.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hour markers and hands are in rose Dauphine-style gold which looks superb on the white silver-colored dial.\u00a0 This model can still be found in the market for around $6,000.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"Montblanc<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2015, Montblanc made the Heritage “Masterpiece” available in pink gold with a black alligator watch strap<\/em> or stainless steel with a black leather watchband. <\/em>\u00a0Montblanc created its first watch collection only in 1997.\u00a0 This newest collection was produced in the Montblanc manufacture and holds a 500-hour quality certificate.\u00a0 However, there has been some speculation whether each new watch undergoes the same rigorous testing as the first one did. \"Montblanc<\/a><\/p>\n

What makes the Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck Heritage Perpetual Calendar watch distinct from its competitors is that despite its multiple functions, beautiful design, and quality craftsmanship, the price is under $13,000.<\/p>\n

It is a stunning timepiece and would definitely fall under the “dress watch” category.\u00a0 We wouldn’t recommend this piece to be used at the beach, pool, or in a shower despite its minimal “waterproofness” designation.\u00a0 Since its testing is in question, we would recommend just using the watch for dress-up occasions – for work with a suit, to a dinner party, or out in the town.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

It lacks only one component – the second hand.\u00a0 However, the balance of the 4 inner dials is exquisite.\u00a0 it allows the face and each of the 12-hour markers to be completely visible and not cut in half as it is done on many other timepieces to fit oversized dials.\u00a0 Even though the dials are smaller and fit inside the hour markers, they can’t be considered small, and are certainly highly legible.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck Heritage Perpetual Calendar is not currently available on the Montblanc website.\u00a0 The only perpetual calendar watch available there is the above design for the Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar<\/span>.\u00a0 \u00a0It has two models either with Arabic numerals or Roman numerals around the dial.\u00a0 This has quite a different look to the Heritage and does feature a second-hand.\u00a0 The hands are also in blue rather than in rose gold.\u00a0 Yet, the timepiece is still powered by the same MB 29.12 caliber with 42 hours of power reserve as the Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n
