Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy, and Dr. Jill Biden have more in common than just being the previous FLOTUS. All three women owned and flaunted Cartier watches while in the White House. Michelle Obama wore her Tank Francaise in her first photo opp at the White house. Jackie Kennedy was gifted her Cartier Tank watch after the death of the former president and her husband JFK. And Dr. Jill Biden owns a gold Panthere de Cartier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Americans have a love affair with its first ladies. Although this really took a new height when Jackie Kennedy stepped into the White House. Her youthful beauty and connection to the popular John F. Kennedy made her even more appealing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even after the death of JFK, the billionaire Aristotle Onassis found Jaqueline Kennedy irresistible. Jackie-O had a love for Cartier and could be seen wearing this tank watch in the picture above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a gift from her brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw \u201cStas\u201d Radziwill in 1963. The watch features the engraving: \u201cStas to Jackie 23 Feb. 63 2:05 am to 9:35 pm.\u201d The times refer to the start and stop times of the famous 50-Mile Hike in Palm Beach in 1963. The 50-mile hike became a short-lived fad in early 1963 after President Kennedy publicly asked the American people to accept the mentally and physically grueling challenge of walking this long distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jill Biden has rarely been seen without her Cartier since 2018, she was often seen wearing it on the campaign trail in 2020. It can be assumed that this was a gift from Joe Biden. In fact, Jill also bought Joe a watch; a Rolex Datejust with a blue dial which he wore at his inauguration.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jill Biden seems to prefer this Panth\u00e8re de Cartier in yellow gold. This tank watch is a stunning 18 karat gold timepiece with a square shape and Roman numerals on the dial. The white dial and black hour markers is oddly shaped around the inner square. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than black hands for the minute and hour, it features blue hands. There is no seconds hand on this timepiece, keeping it very simplistic and visually sparse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a blue jeweled tip at the end of the winding crown. This timepiece doesn’t need much in terms of bling. It already is made of pure gold. The band itself is stunning with 5 rows of golden links. This timepiece is simple, but luxurious. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melania Trump is impressive with her Vacheron Constantin diamond crusted timepiece. This timepiece is worth over $1 million just because of its design and amount of diamonds used. If it was sold at auction, likely it would fetch much more because it is tied to her supermodel celebrity status as well as the Trump celebrity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This timepiece is curved rather than a square shape. It does have a very simple hour and minute hand, just like the 2 timepieces above. Because all of the diamonds are exposed on the dial, the bezel and on the band itself, it almost appears as if the watch is white, glass or even silver, depending on the angle it is viewed at. Because there aren’t any colored sapphires on the timepiece, it has a very simple look, which is amazing since it is engraved with diamonds from head to foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michelle Obama also has a love for Cartier timepieces. This stainless steel timepiece is very conservative looking, if it wasn’t for the two lines of diamonds on the right and left of the bezel. Although it has less diamonds than the Melania Trump watch, this one has 26 diamonds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the Jackie-O timepiece the winding crown has a blue sapphire tip and only 2 hands on the face. The dial is almost a duplicate of the Jill Biden timepiece. This TANK FRAN\u00c7AISE WATCH has a quartz movement inside ensuring accuracy. It is listed at a mere $7,500 cost, which is probably the lowest priced timepiece of the US First Ladies watches collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hilary Clinton has a love for the simple luxury of the Rolex Rolesor Ladies Datejust<\/a>. The Reference 279171 is only pricey at a listed $9,850, because of its association with the number 1 brand in the world – Rolex. The other timepieces have more diamonds, gold, etc. However, Rolex equates to luxury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This timepiece has an in-house caliber 2236 inside of the case with a 55 hour power reserve.
