Green watches and straps have been around for years, but have been growing in popularity. The world has a fascination with the green color when it comes to fine timepieces. The holiday celebrates Christianity coming to Ireland and is celebrated with parades, festivals, people wearing green, and people drinking alcohol. Green Shamrocks are celebrated, because according to the legend, Saint Patrick used the 3-leaved shamrock to explain aspects of the Christian faith to his growing followers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The holiday has become a popular one. Even non-Catholics are found celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day because it is a day of merriment, celebration, and wearing of all things green. The movement is not just in Ireland. The day is widely celebrated in the UK, Canada, the US, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
