What Are The Technical Specifications of the Tudor Black Bay Fifty Eight 925?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tudor Black Bay Fifty Eight 925 sees Tudor trying out a number of different ideas, but the overall unifying theme of this timepiece is that it is inspired by vintage watches and earlier iterations of the Tudor Black Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the ways that this is immediately noticeable is in the size of the watch, which measures at 39 mm instead of the more commonly seen 41 mm. This is not an accident, but an intentional reference to older watches, which were made in smaller sizes. The 925 case also comes in silver, which is something that has never been available on this model of watch before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tudor should definitely be commended for some of the changes they\u2019ve made to this model of the Black Bay, as they were, in our opinion, one of the highlights of this year\u2019s Watches and Wonders event. The reason for this is that oftentimes, especially if you\u2019ve been involved with the world of horology for a long time, it can be somewhat easy to predict what a retailer is going to do next with a certain product line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully, Tudor threw us a genuine curveball here in the best kind of way, and the breath of fresh air was much needed. Seeing this watch in silver, with the open back case, through which the movement was visible, allowed us to be genuinely excited about what Tudor managed to accomplish with this timepiece. No one really saw this coming, and it is nice to see Tudor take a model that is not known for being \u201cflashy\u201d and add some precious metals to it in a way that feels sensible and refined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
