Spanning one of the longest production periods in Rolex history, the GMT-Master 1675 was first introduced in 1959 and discontinued in 1980. Powered by two different calibers through its time in production, the history of the 1675 GMT-Master is interesting indeed. Undergoing a series of makeovers and other slight changes, the GMT Master 1675 has experienced longer minute markers, gilt dials to white, pointed crown guards to rounded, chapter ring to not, and a small triangle on the red second-time zone hand to big.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Featuring the beloved red and blue \u201cPepsi dial\u201d to distinguish between day and night, the 1675 GMT Master is easily recognizable among the sea of Rolex watches. Pressure proof to 165ft, the GMT-Master 1675 is powered by an automatic mechanical movement, has a 40MM sized case, old-fashioned acrylic crystal glass as opposed to the now used scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, 24-hour rotating metal bezel, and is waterproof up to 30 ATM.<\/p>\n

\"GMT-MasterInterestingly enough, the GMT-Master 1675 shares the same caliber as the Rolex Explorer II 1655, thus many opt for the more affordable GMT-Master 1675 when searching in the vintage Rolex market. Additionally, the GMT-Master 1675 is the first Rolex sports watch to be featured on a Rolex Oyster Bracelet and Rolex Jubilee Bracelet. Nevertheless, although this particular piece is a sought-after item, it is one of the more undervalued GMT-Master models out there despite raising its profile as a vintage model watch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
