The first Rolex Submariner was released at Baselworld in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Submariners. Small but significant details were changed from the original all-steel version to create the newer model. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most distinguishing feature of the new Rolex Submariner is the green aluminum bezel, which was a big variation from the classic steel version. In the past, there were only two versions of Rolex Submariner for consumers to choose from, the inaugural Green Submariner or \u201cThe Kermit\u201d and its younger sibling, \u201cThe Hulk\u201d. Kermit Vs. Hulk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kermit green Rolex Submariner has evolved over the years and comes in several variations in different shades of green. The Rolex Kermit watch was the first to introduce the green collection of Rolex Submariners. The \u201cHulk\u201d version of Rolex Submariner was first introduced in 2010 which featured a darker shade of green on its bezel. Rolex enthusiasts coined the nickname \u201cHulk\u201d Submariner for this watch for its bolder look than the Kermit Submariner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rolex Hulk includes a Super Case with larger-sized lugs, crown guard, and bezel, it has a bulkier appearance without changing the dimensions of the watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hulk version Rolex Submariner replaced Kermit\u2019s aluminum bezel and now included a Cerachrom ceramic bezel that has a more saturated forest green color than the more olive color on the bezel of the Kermit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
