Chris Pratt was born Christopher Michael Pratt on June 21, 1979, in Virginia, Minnesota. In 2015, Chris Pratt and wife at the time Anna Faris donated $1 million dollars to charity to provide eyeglasses to underprivileged children. In December 2016, Pratt donated $500,000 to a teen center in his hometown of Lake Stevens. The teen center was named in memory of his father. Chris Pratt also helped create the charity Feed Thy Neighbor to which he donated $100,000. Originally beginning his career as a supporting actor in television roles, American actor Chris Pratt is mostly known for his role as Andy Dwyer in NBC\u2019s Parks and Recreation. In 2014, Chris Pratt was the lead actor in Guardians of the Galaxy which would eventually skyrocket his career. On-screen hero Chris Pratt has starred in the leading role in numerous box office hits such as Jurassic World, Avengers: Infinity Wars, and Avengers: Endgame.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
