For our first entry, we thought it would only be fitting to learn more about the man who has been with the franchise since its very inception. Diesel also enjoys collecting watches, so we will take a closer look at his impressive body of work, and watches, in this article. We will also be taking a look at his car collection as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is Vin Diesel?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vin Diesel was born Mark Sinclair on July 18th<\/sup>, 1967 in Alameda County, California. His mother, Delora, is an astrologer, and his adoptive father, Irving, was an acting instructor and theater manager. When he was at a young age, the family would relocate to New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diesel\u2019s initial break into acting happened somewhat by accident. He and some friends, when Diesel was 7, broke into a theater with the intent to vandalize it. Instead of calling the police, the theater\u2019s artistic director offered the young men roles in the play instead, which Diesel accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diesel is multi-racial, and that contributed to him having trouble being cast in his early career. He chose to make a short film, \u201cMulti-Facial,\u201d that reflected upon these experiences. He would then write and direct the feature film \u201cStrays,\u201d which he also starred in and co-produced as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This would lead to him coming to the attention of Steven Spielberg, who cast Diesel in a small role in his 1998 war opus \u201cSaving Private Ryan.\u201d He would then go on to voice the titular character in \u201cThe Iron Giant,\u201d a popular animated film that premiered the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fast and the Furious and Mainstream Success<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After starring in two other films, \u201cBoiler Room\u201d and \u201cPitch Black,\u201d in 2000, Diesel would become an international superstar with the release of \u201cThe Fast and the Furious\u201d in 2001. The film would prove to be hugely successful, going on to release an impressive ten installments, the newest of which will release this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPitch Black\u201d would also be turned into a franchise, and its fourth film, \u201cRiddick: Furya,\u201d was confirmed to be going into production during an announcement in February 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, he would star as Xander Cage in \u201cXXX,\u201d an action series that focuses on extreme sports athletes who are recruited for secret government missions by the NSA. That film would also be turned into a franchise, with its third installment, \u201cXXX: Return of Xander Cage,\u201d being released in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also been the voice of Groot since 2014, which saw the release of the first \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d film. He has voiced the character in all of its appearances throughout the MCU. The final \u201cGuardians\u201d film will also premiere this year as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vin Diesel, the Hollywood actor known for his roles in films such as the Fast and Furious franchise, has been photographed wearing a variety of watches over the years.
