OYSTER PERPETUAL YACHT-MASTER EVEROSE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master<\/a> reference 116655 timepiece in Everose gold appeared in 2015 at Baselworld. The brand new, redesigned Yacht-Master broke all Rolex’s traditional image for their watchbands and bezels. Rolex announced a sporty addition to its Yacht-Master line: A model in 18k Everose gold on the new “Oysterflex” bracelet.<\/p>\n

This new Rolex timepiece combines the two exceptional colors of pink gold (which Rolex dubbed “Everose”) and black throughout.\u00a0 This combination has created several stunning timepieces.\u00a0 Although it is unclear whether Rolex came up with the concept of pink gold and black as a winning color combination, it is clear that this will be something that will find its way to most of Rolex’s other timepieces.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Yacht-Master changes history since the earlier Yacht-Master timepieces never fully worked as a cross breed between the Submariner and Date-Just.\u00a0 This new Yacht-Master sets its own course.\u00a0 It is more luxurious and care free than the typical Date-Just and certainly can’t be confused with a tool watch Submariner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is made for a person that owns a yacht rather than the staff that maintains it.\u00a0 It can’t be confused with the yacht racers that would rather don the Yacht-Master II.\u00a0 This timepiece is more for the laid back yacht owner who enjoys simple luxury and the good things in life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master<\/h2>\n

This refined timepiece, still with a sporty look, comes with an Everose case and a polished surface, offering bright contrast to a matte black courtroom bezel insert and rubber bracelet.\u00a0 This Yacht-Master has a bi-directional rotatable 60 minute graduated bezel.\u00a0 It has waterproof support for 330 feet of depth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However a typical yachtsman would be more likely for a casual swim rather than test the dive depths of the ocean.\u00a0 For that, they would more likely acquire the Submariner timepiece or one of its more deep-diving brothers – the Sea-Dweller or Deep-Sea.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This was the first time Rolex released its Everose gold on a Yacht-Master.\u00a0 It is also the first time it launched a Rolex timepiece with its newly designed Oysterflex bracelet.\u00a0 This rubber bracelet is not unlike the highly sought after Rubber B bracelets that have been on the market for years.\u00a0 This black rubber strap is built with metal titanium nickel alloy blade covered in a black elastomer coating. The bracelet features a beautiful Everose “Oysterlock” clasp.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new Rolex Yacht-Master also had a new black Cerachrom bezel which was a newly designed element made from ceramic alloy.\u00a0 It has the distinctive matt black with polished minute markings around the edge,\u00a0 which can be felt with due to the indentations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The current model is powered by the caliber 3235 which is a new movement fully developed by Rolex.\u00a0 It has a massive power reserve of 70 hours, and it is fitted with the newest Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance shock absorbers to keep it keeping time at its best.\u00a0 Its precision is guaranteed at -2\/+2 and fully tested after the case was sealed to don the “Superlative Chronometer” on the dial.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master\u00a0 is available in two sizes: 37mm reference 268655 and 40mm reference 116655.\u00a0 The reference 268655 is seen going for around $32,000 and the bigger brother 116655 is often seen for around $38,000.\u00a0 The newest version of the 116655 is reference 126655<\/a>.\u00a0 The 126655 has the 40 mm case and is listed for $28050 on the Rolex site.\u00a0 However, this timepiece is currently priced at around $45,000 due to incredible demand for all Rolex models.<\/p>\n
