It has been several years since Rolex has added any new versions of this watch to their product line, so the news that there were not one, but two new versions of this timepiece prompted much excitement. There is one new watch that is encased in Rolesor, and the other in yellow gold. For the purposes of this article, we will be focusing on the 18K yellow gold model.<br><br>Below, we will examine this new watch from several different vantage points. We will begin by looking at the more technical aspects of the timepiece. The design choices and more visual aspects of the watch will then be analyzed. It is powered by the 3285 caliber movement, which is produced in-house by Rolex. It is perpetual, mechanical, self-winding, and contains a GMT function. It has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The case of the watch is waterproof for up to 330 feet.<br><br>The bezel is bidirectional, rotatable, and 24-hour graduated. It has a two-color Cerachrom insert, with this particular model containing gray and black. It is not their most popular item, largely due to the fact that it is a \u201ctool watch\u201d and considerably less flashy than most other Rolexes.<br><br>However, this new version addresses several of the criticisms that long-time collectors have had with the GMT model.
