The purpose of the screw-down feature was to provide a better water resistance capability without damaging the watch movement.<\/p>\n<p>In 1987 there were some minor variations to the<a title=\"Rolex Daytona (WG,YG)\" href=\"https:\/\/rubberb.com\/en\/rolex-watch-band-products\/rolex-daytona-strap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong> Rolex Daytona<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.
