Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual model\u00a0finds its roots in\u00a0the original Rolex Oyster, introduced in 1926 as the first waterproof wristwatch in the world. This elegant and simple timepiece is currently available in several sizes (26mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm, 39mm) with many colorful dial options to choose from.\u00a0The Oyster Perpetual Date 34 (Reference # 115200) shown above features a white dial with a date display and roman numerals. Its\u00a03130 movement is manufactured by Rolex and fitted with their patented blue Parachrom hairspring. It has a power reserve of 48 hours and a depth rating of 100 meters.<\/p>\n

The Oyster Perpetual models are ideal for those who spend time in suits and want a Rolex that walks the line between elegant and sporty. The 904L stainless steel version features the classic Oyster case and brushed steel Oyster bracelet.
