The Oyster Perpetual gets its name from two of the most important Rolex watchmaking innovations in the company’s history: the Oyster case and the Perpetual rotor. The patented Oyster case was introduced in 1926 on the world’s first waterproof wristwatch, the Rolex Oyster. A few years later in 1931, the watchmaker introduced the Perpetual rotor, a self-winding mechanism that powered the movement without requiring the wearer to wind the watch manually.<\/p>\n

This classic model is available in sizes that range from 26mm up to 39mm, making it a great option for those with small or medium-sized wrists. Its simple case and clear, symmetrical dial make it easy to read and easy on the eyes. It comes with the option of roman or Arabic numerals in a variety of dial color combinations.<\/p>\n
