The official watch of the 35th America’s Cup, the Panerai Marina 1950 America’s Cup 3 Days Automatic Acciaio (PAM00727) is a special edition watch with only 300 units being released by the watchmaker. This model has the words ‘America’s Cup’ inscribed in light blue just above 6 o’clock and below the brand name. It also features a red seconds hand on the sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The black leather strap has the competition’s logo heat-embossed on both sides with stitching in blue and red.<\/p>\n

The brushed steel 44 mm case is fitted with a P.9010 automatic mechanical movement executed by Panerai in their manufacture in Neuch\u00e2tel. It features central hour and minute hands, a seconds sub-dial and a date function visible through an aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement is 6 mm thick and consists of 200 components oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The hour hand can be adjusted without interfering with the minute hand, something that allows the wearer to synchronize the time effortlessly.<\/p>\n
