The Tudor Black Bay reference M79230R-0012 is a combination of new and antique elements which make it a unique find.  The matt bergundy bezel in anodised aluminum gives a stellar contrast to the black dial and a very modern appeal.  Yet, the beautiful patina of the snowflake hands, luminescent hour markers and the markings of the dial, give the Black Bay reference M79230R-0012 a classic look which you might find on, perhaps, an old Rolex from the 1960’s.<\/p>\n

This yellowish coloring is highly sought after by collectors worldwide, and yet you wouldn’t have to wait 50 years since this is the intended coloring out of the box.  To further accentuate the cream colored luminescent coloring, the hour markers and hands are surrounded by gold toned metal rather than stainless steel.<\/p>\n

The Tudor is known for the big winding crown which makes it simple to to adjust the timepiece.  Tudor released its own in-house movement in 2015 – a high-performance calibre MT5602 which is certified by the COSC, and provides an outstanding 70-hour power reserve.  It is a diver’s watch with waterproofness to 660 feet.  The 41mm steel case is joined by a domed sapphire crystal.  The timepiece comes with a steel bracelet, aged leather, or fabric straps with each new timepiece.  The fabric straps are a Tudor signature feature, being produced according to the “Jacquard” technique mastered by a century old family business from the St-Etienne region of France.<\/p>\n
