Key Features of the Explorer II<\/h2>\n\n

The calibre 3187 provides 48 hours of power reserve. Although Rolex has not updated the Explorer II with a new caliber with 72 hour power reserve, we expect this enhancement to be added soon. The 3187 features a self-winding mechanical movement. The Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers provide stability and resistance to shocks.<\/p>\n\n

The Oystersteel case and Oyster bracelet offer rugged strength to this beautiful timepiece. The 904L steel offers maximum resistance to corrosion even in the harshest environments.

The bracelet has an Oysterlock folding clasp. This prevents accidental opening. It also use an Easylink comfort link system. This exclusive system helps the wearer increase the bracelet length 5 mm at a time.<\/p>\n\n

The Explorer II has a date display feature. Most notably, a bright orange 24-hour hand enables explorers to distinguish day from night. This is the ultimate tool watch for speleologists, volcanologists, mountain climbers and polar explorers.<\/p>\n\n

The Explorer II timepieces have a double waterproofness system that guarantees protection to 330 feet. Owners can choose between either a black dial or a white dial on the Explorer II, and a black dial on the Explorer I.<\/p>\n\n
