Probably one of his most memorable roles is playing the Russian boxer, Ivan Drago, that kills Apollo Creed in Rocky IV, and then is subsequently defeated by Rocky in Russia.\u00a0 He reprises the role in Creed II when he is on the sideline with Ivan’s “son” fighting Apollo Creed’s son.\u00a0 Lundgren isn’t even Russian.\u00a0 He was born Hans Lundgren, from Sweden.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Besides appearing in the Rocky series, he has also appeared in the James Bond movie A View to a Kill and all 3 The Expendibles movies.\u00a0 He took the stage as the primary good guy lead role in the 3 film Universal Soldier film series.<\/p>\n

Lundgren appeared in many action movies which are quality standalone flicks which truly earn him the rank of one of the perennial action superstars in the world.\u00a0 He not only has the martial arts skills to handle himself well on screen with any A list actror – friend or foe.\u00a0 He also has the appearance of a powerful and imposing figure.\u00a0 His blonde hair, obvious physical strength and powerful jaw make him an ideal go – to for directors looking for an intimidating force for good or evil.<\/p>\n

Lundgren has been found appearing in multiple TV shows over the years even appearing as himself in multiple cameos – most notably Sharknado, Arrow, and Sanjay and Craig.\u00a0 His most recent role of note was his role as King Nereus in the highly popular movie Aquaman.\u00a0 His character in that movie plays the father of the lead female and initially sides with with bad guys, but ends up switching side to back Aquaman and his heir to the throne.\u00a0 He is possibly the perfect actor to play that switch-up role since he has fitted so well on both sides of the good vs evil spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n

His skills, intelligence, and history as an A – list actor establishes his reputation as the most notable Swedish action star in the history of cinema. The fact that he chose the Rolex Daytona is not surprising. The Daytona is a highly sought after timepiece by successful men all over the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attached Reference 116500LN appears to be close to the Rolex Daytona worn by Lundgren. It has a white dial and a black bezel. It is hard to determine the kind of age on this timepiece worn by Lundgren. However this appears to be the model worn before Rolex changed the Power reserve to 72 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the features of the Rolex Daytona remain the same, with just some tweaks to make it more accurate, more reliable and of course improve the power reserve. The timepiece is resistant to water at 330 feet and is built from a block of Oystersteel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is protected by a sapphire crystal and contains all of the chronograph features of a stop watch – great for drivers. This timepiece has exceptional features for an action star, since it both is accurate and can hold its own in a car chase and even in the water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
