Ashton Kutcher and His Deepsea
Ashton Kutcher and his Deepsea obsession has been something that has come with the territory. What other timepiece would Kutcher have other than a Rolex? It is interesting that he would choose a Rolex Deepsea because it is a bit thicker and more robust than the other Rolexes on the market.
The Deepsea 44mm case is the largest that Rolex offers today. It is not uncommon for top male actors to choose cases that are larger and that the trend is certainly moving towards the larger and more substantial case size. One of the reasons Kutcher may like the Rolex Deepsea is its Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and High-performance Paraflex shock absorbers which will keep the timepiece ticking and keeping excellent time no matter what antics Kutcher can come up with.
It is unknown whether Kutcher is an avid diver and would really ever put the Rolex Deepsea to the test of its 12,800 feet of water resistance support. However he spent a great deal of time preparing for his role as The Guardian. He didn’t love swimming before taking on the role, but worked so hard that he felt he could become an elite swimmer should he put more time into it.
