The Tudor Black Bay family of 41 mm timepieces is inspired by the Tudor divers’ watches produced during the 1950s. These timepieces have the notable angular “snowflake” hands, even on the seconds hand. Like all divers’ watches, the Tudor reference m79540-0004 has luminescent hour markers – a large triangle at the 12 o’clock position, rectangles at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions and large circular markers at the other hour positions. All luminescent markers are surrounded by a powerful and long lasting steel outline. The characteristic “snowflake” hands gives the Tudor a distinct advantage by allowing large luminescent hour, minute and seconds hands—allowing the wearer to easily distinguish the different hands even in darkest situations.
The reference m79540-0004 has a rich blue dial and a smooth steel polished bezel. It has a matching 41mm steel case and steel bracelet with a satin finish. The bracelet has a folding clasp and safety catch. This timepiece was introduced at the 2017 Baselworld and has quickly risen in acclaim over its ability to capture both the elegant look required for formal attire, while retaining its sporty look and durable design.
The Tudor Black Bay Reference m79540-0004 is powered by a caliber 2824 self-winding mechanical movement with a 38 hour power reserve. The large wind down crown and sapphire crystal are designed to provide a waterproofness to a depth of 500 feet. The blue, white and steel color combination and simple design is both eye-catching and minimalistic, making this a very modern, yet classic timepiece.
Rubber B has designed five stunning dual colored bracelets for the Tudor Black Bay Reference m79540-0004. The Rubber B straps draw attention since its classic and universally modern black band is enhanced by an optional, yet dazzling, second color which appears at the base of the band and peers through near the tang buckle.
Engineered to fit the Tudor Heritage Black Bay and Tudor deployant buckle, the Rubber B straps provide a stunning look and a durability that matches the quality and exquisite attention to detail that each Tudor Black Bay timepiece possesses. Rubber B bracelets are manufactured in Switzerland of pure vulcanized rubber. These bracelets exceed FDA and BVGG standards of excellence.
