With a 42mm stainless steel case and a white dial, the Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic (PAM01523) stands out among other Panerai models. At a slightly smaller size and with a unique dial color, it presents a wonderful alternative to those who may already own a Luminor model with the characteristic black dial and luminous numerals. Equipped with a P.9010 calibre manufactured in-house by the watchmaker, this timepiece features hours, minutes, small seconds and date functions.
Another unique design feature of the PAM01523 is the addition of luminous dots next to the hour markers that light up instead of the arabic numerals as seen on other models. Filled with Super-LumiNova®, the dots take on a coloring that compliments the tan leather strap it comes with. The seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock features a blue color detail and the date is displayed through an aperture at 3 o’clock. The 316L stainless steel case features the crown protecting device that comes on all Luminor 1950 models.
The lume shot above shows the legibility of the dial with the luminous dots instead of numerals. Waterproof up to 100 meters, this timepiece features a clear case back and polished steel bezel that creates a contract with the brushed steel case.
