Characterized by its thin, 18k gold case, the 40 mm Omega De Ville Trésor of the late 1940’s was named such because it safeguarded the legendary 30mm calibre mechanics. However, the simplistic design with 6 o’clock date dial is timeless. It is available in 88 different styles including 18K OMEGA Sedna™ gold (pink gold), 18K yellow gold or 18K white gold case and an option surrounded by diamonds. It has several dial types including classic silver, blue, brown (Tahiti) and mother of pearl (white). The date markers have gold matching the color of the case, however some versions have mini diamonds encrusted upon them.
The 40 mm case is a thin 10.6 mm in height. The Omega De Ville Trésor uses a black or brown wrist strap for most models except the blue dial model which has a blue leather strap. It uses OMEGA’s Master Co-Axial calibre 8511, able to resist magnetic fields greater than 15,000 gauss. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment can sustain water resistance up to 100 feet. It has a power reserve of up to 60 hours.
Although there are 88 total combinations, they all sport 20 mm cases. Here is a list of the most common Omega De Ville Trésor watches:

The Omega De Ville Trésor has 20mm metal lug (or bar) that keeps the leather wristwatch band in place. Rubber B strongly recommends replacing the leather bands from the manufacturer immediately upon purchase in order to preserve the original band for resale value of the timepiece.
Leather watchbands from the manufacturer are often not made for long-lasting wear and tear. They can quickly develop odors, and experience deformation from perspiration. They crack and crease due the deteriorating nature of humid cardboard filler pad.
A Rubber B Structure Series™ contains no filler pad: the leather surface fits crease-free and smoothly fused to the shapely rubber base for the entire life of the strap. The wearer no longer worries about the temperature rising, causing them to perspire, and ruin their leather strap. At the end of an active day, a Structure Series™ rubber base can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth, avoiding any damage to the fine leather surface. No other leather watch bracelet can match the endurance of our Structure Series™ watchbands.
Another consideration when buying a replacement watch strap is making sure you can completely fit the metal lug. Rubber B has a perfect replacement set of options for the Omega De Ville Trésor and its 20mm lug size. Rubber B offers replacement leather straps for Omega De Ville Trésor in the colors of Jet Black, Cognac (Brown with a touch of black), and Red Devil (touch of red on black). Rubber B offers both Genuine Alligator and Full Grain Leather options with a 316L stainless steel buckle. For more info go to our replacement bands for the Omega De Ville Trésor .
