The first wristwatch models of the early 20th century featured genuine leather straps that adhered to the formal style of dress of the time. While Swiss watchmakers have evolved their collections to meet the desires of modern watch enthusiasts, most of their bracelets can be replaced with aftermarket leather straps, like the ones shown in the photo above from our Structure Series.
Designed to fit watch cases with lug widths of 18mm, 20mm or 22mm, our genuine leather straps come in a variety of styles and colors. Made with a vulcanized rubber base, they curve effortlessly around the wearer’s wrist, protecting the leather from invasive daily elements like perspiration, UV rays and saltwater. Hypoallergenic, non-toxic and non-marking, they exceed FDA and BVGG specifications. The leather is hand stitched onto the base with invisible knotting, ensuring a clean, knot-free surface.
The straps in our Structure Series come with a 316L stainless steel buckle in their respective sizes. This buckle can be swapped for the clasp that comes on most original straps, giving the leather strap configuration a customized look and secure feel. Their rubber bases are crafted and finished in Switzerland using the highest caliber materials on the market.
Available in either black or brown genuine leather, these elegant and versatile straps pair very well with most luxury watch models.
