Who is Bradley Cooper?

Bradley Cooper was born on January 5, 1975, in Abington Township, Pennsylvania to Charles and Gloria Cooper. His father was a stockbroker who worked for Merrill Lynch, while his mother worked for the NBC affiliate. As a child, he excelled at both basketball and cooking, though he would later develop an interest in acting after seeing David Lynch’s film “The Elephant Man.”

He would graduate from Georgetown University in 1997 with a degree in English, though he would also become fluent in French during this time. Two years later, he would make his television debut in “Sex and the City” in a brief scene opposite Sarah Jessica Parker.  He would also be a presenter on the television series Globe Trekker, which would allow him to travel to different locations around the world.

After appearing in Wet Hot American Summer in 2001, Cooper’s film career would begin to develop slightly, but it wasn’t until his appearance in Wedding Crashers in 2005 that he truly began to be recognized by audiences.  Since that time, he has continued to work steadily in film and occasionally make television appearances. His most recent project, 2018’s “A Star is Born,” earned him 3 Oscar nominations and 2 Grammy awards.

Considering all of the success that he has had thus far professionally, Cooper will likely be a fixture on our screens for years to come.
