Though you probably best know her from her long-running role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett from “Modern Family,” she’s been acting and modeling since the mid 1990’s, and has long enjoyed a career both in the United States and her native Colombia.

Though Sofia Vergara and Paul Newman never worked together throughout their acting careers, it turns out they are linked by something else – a mutual love of Rolex watches, particularly the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona model. Sofia likes this watch so much that she owns no less than three different versions of it! The one she is seen with most often is an 18K yellow gold model with a black dial, but she also has an Everrose gold plated version, and another version with a black mother of pearl dial. Clearly, Sofia Vergara is very much a Rolex connoisseur.

However, the Rolex Cosmography Daytona is far from the only Rolex that Sofia Vergara has in her personal collection. She is also fond of sporting a Rolex Datejust when she is out on the town as well. This watch has been a personal favorite of several past First Ladies, including Michelle Obama.
Considering that Sophia Vergara is also known as a style icon around the world, it is not hard to believe that she would have both men’s, and women’s, wristwatches in her personal collection. This particular piece also has a mother of pearl dial, which seems to be one of her favorite style choices.
The notable thing about mother of pearl dials is that because it is a natural material, no two dials are exactly the same, which makes these watches very unique.

Another watch that was popular with a famous First Lady, in this case Jackie Kennedy, the Cartier name has been associated with elegance and refinement for decades. Though the Cartier Ballon Bleu is a relatively newer product from the renowned watchmaker, it has quickly become one of their most popular timepieces, and likely will be for years to come.
Omega DeVille Ladymatic
Sophia Vergara was previously a brand ambassador for Omega, so it stands to reason that she would own at least one of their watches. In this particular instance, Sophia opted to choose the Omega DeVille Ladymatic, which is the brand’s most recognizable women’s wristwatch.
