The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Reference RDDBEX0653 is one of the finest examples of quality craftsmanship in watchmaking. Roger Dubuis partnered with the Lamborghini Squadra Corse and designed the Aventador S with the same C-SMC carbon used on the Lamborghini Aventador S chasis. This 45 mm reference RDDBEX0653 is an ultra unique limited edition timepiece with only 8 pieces being made.
Powered by a hand-wound calibre RD103SQ with the first RD skeleton featuring double sprung balances with differential, the Excalibur Aventador S Reference RDDBEX0653 gives its owner 40 hours of power reserve. It has an hours, minutes and jumping seconds hands and a power reserve indicator. It is made with 312 components, 48 jewels and beats at a frequency of 57,600 vph. It is decorated by Anthracite grey NAC treatment, shot-blasted and circular grained plate and bridges and Poinçon de Genève finishings.
The hands are 18K Gold, but are colored in Black PVD and then attached with luminous SLN tips in green. The green transfer is added to the winding crown, the bezel numerals and the green seconds hand. Rhodium plated hour markers are filled with white luminous SLN for fantastic nighttime visibility. On the back side, the Aventador S logo is placed across the back.
The timepiece is water resistant to 50 meters. It comes with a bi-material strap with black rubber as the base and black alcantara inlay and green stitiching. It comes with a Titanium black DLC clasp with adjustable folding buckle and a quick release system.
Rubber B collaborated with Roger Dubuis to create an exclusive strap designed specifically for the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S Reference RDDBEX0653 45 mm case and deployment clasp. This is engineered to work with the quick-release system of the Excalibur Aventador S but can also support models that do not come with the quick-release. The quick release system is a unique system allowing timepiece owners the ability to completely change the look of their Roger Dubuis creation by interchanging bands with various color palettes to suit their needs and tastes at the moment. These bands can be attached to the original deployment clasp that came with the original timepiece.
All Rubber B vulcanized rubber bands are 100% waterproof and are made in Switzerland of pure natural rubber. Although the black rubber base and matching black stitching look spectacular with the Reference RDDBEX0653 there are several base colors and alternative color threads used for stitching available to allow the Roger Dubuis timepiece owner a tremendous number of style options.
