In a world with mostly automatic timepieces the 676 harkens back to the era of simpler times when people would wind their watches by hand. It is powered by a P.1000 calibre with 21 jewels a Glucydur balance and KIF Parechoc anti-shock device. The P.1000 provides a power reserve of 3 days. The dial is a stunningly elegant sun-brushed black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. The dial almost has a 3-D effect that pops our at you (without the 3-D glasses). If you are a Star Wars fan, it may even appear that the hands are entering into light speed where the stars and planets suddenly streak past in to the darkness of the space beyond. The patina of the luminescent hands is a luxurious cream color which is beautiful and tasteful during the day. The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Acciaio has a standard hour and minute hands and a small seconds dial at 10 o’clock. It has luminescent coating on all of the hands and even at the small seconds 4 corners. The numerals at 12, 3 and 6 o’clock give the timepiece better readability overall. The case is AISI 316L polished steel and it is protected by a sapphire crystal on both the front and the back where you can see the Panerai movement. You can enjoy the Luminor Due both on your wrist and off, as you can enjoy the ticking movement underneath the case. The timepiece has water resistance to 30 meters and the winding crown is protected by the Panerai trademark locking mechanism.A Blank Canvas Waiting for a Master
The PAM00676 comes with a black tone on tone 22/18 leather strap. However, this timepiece would look perfect with a Rubber B band.
