Not to be outdone, his friend Arnold Schwarzenegger also got himself a Panerai watch, and from that point on, it became the go-to watch for action stars in Hollywood – even the Rock’s on-screen nemesis (and off-screen friend) Jason Statham has one as well.

In short, these watches were made to be hard to break and keep on ticking even after they take a licking.
