Channing Tatum Wearing a Rolex Deepsea

Channing Tatum is not a small guy by any stretch. Although he has been seen wearing some low end pieces such as the Bulova 96A102 which goes for only $300, and the TW Steel CEO Diver which is available today for under $400, Tatum really stepped up with the choice of a Rolex Deepsea. The new Rolex Deepsea is one of Rolex’s largest pieces at 44 mm.

The Deepsea is an impressive timepiece for any actor to be wearing. Clearly Tatum loves the ocean and since he lives in Malibu, California, there is no better timepiece to acquire than the Rolex Deepsea. Although the timepiece lists for only $12,900 it is unlikely you will be able to get one for that price today.

The Rolex Deepsea has a 60 minute rotatable bezel. It is waterproof to an amazing depth of 3,900 meters which is far more than 99% of all divers in the world would ever need. The new Deepsea has an optional gradiated blue to black on the dial or an all-black dial. There is also a gold and stainless steel version with rolesor metal band. The ceramic bezel is a virtually scratchproof black on all the 3 models. The bezel is coated with PVD and a layer of platinum.

The Rolex Deepsea has highly luminescent material both on the hour markers and the hands, emitting a long-lasting blue glow for excellent legibility in dark conditions. The Oystersteel case is protected by a rolex ringlock system with a helium escape valve to protect the watch during decompression, and a triplock triple waterproofness system.

The Deepsea is powered by a new caliber 3235 with a 70 hour power reserve. The Paramagnetic blue parachrom hairspring and paraflex shock absorbers reduce the impact of shock on the precision and reliability of the Rolex timepiece.

Rubber B has developed 3 exceptional bands for the Rolex Deepsea timepiece. The Glidelock Series supports the original glidelock deployant buckle offered by Rolex. It is also 2 tone in color with the black on the outside and blue underneath. It is an exceptional band for the new gradiated blue to black dial version of the Rolex Deepsea. The rubber is infused with strength technology in order to keep its strength when working with the glidelock clasp.

The second offering is the Tang Buckle Series which has “Blocked Integration” engineering connecting the Rubber B band with the Deepsea case. It has a tight, motionless fit. It comes in 3 optional colors – Jet Black, Arctic White or the all new Pacific Blue.

The Rubber Cuff Series is the newest offering by Rubber B. It provides the look and feel of a real Kevlar NATO strap. However it is actually 100% rubber.
