Chris Brown has been collecting luxury watches since his early twenties – and his taste has only gotten more aggressive with time. His collection spans Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks, Richard Mille ultra-complications, Patek Philippe Nautilus chronographs, and multiple Rolex references, with a total estimated value exceeding $10 million. This guide covers every confirmed timepiece in Chris Brown’s watch collection and the Rubber B strap options that fit each one.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26320OR – Rose Gold Chronograph
The AP Royal Oak Chronograph in rose gold is one of the most recognizable pieces in Brown’s collection. The 26320OR features the iconic octagonal bezel, “Tapisserie” dial, and an integrated rose gold bracelet – a combination that sits at the intersection of sport and haute horlogerie. At approximately $100,000 retail, it’s a statement piece that only a serious collector would reach for.

The Royal Oak Chronograph is powered by the in-house Calibre 2385, offering column-wheel chronograph function with a 40-hour power reserve. The 41mm case size makes it a strong wrist presence without crossing into oversized territory.
Rubber B makes precision-fit straps for the AP Royal Oak 41mm using Blocked Integration technology – the strap is engineered to fit flush against the case’s integrated lug architecture with no gaps and no generic sizing.

Richard Mille RM 51-01 – One of the Rarest Watches on Earth

The Richard Mille RM 51-01 is not a watch you stumble into. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide, with a secondary market value ranging from $8.5 to $9 million, it is one of the most exclusive timepieces ever produced. Brown owning one places him in a category of collector that goes well beyond celebrity flexing – this is serious horological investment.
The RM 51-01 features a hand-painted dial depicting a tourbillon movement visible through the case, housed in a titanium and carbon TPT case. The hand-painting alone takes hundreds of hours. Richard Mille produces the RM 51-01 in extremely limited quantities, and confirmed examples in private collections are rarely seen publicly.
The RM 51-01 uses a proprietary strap system – Rubber B does not currently make a strap for this reference. It is included here for completeness of the collection record.
Richard Mille RM 030 Le Mans Classic

The RM 030 Le Mans Classic was produced in a limited run and discontinued in 2017, making existing examples increasingly collectible. Brown’s RM 030 features a white ceramic and carbon composite case – materials that Richard Mille pioneered in watchmaking and that remain technically demanding to produce at this level.
The defining technical feature of the RM 030 is its declutchable rotor – a system that allows the wearer to disengage the automatic winding mechanism manually, extending the movement’s longevity and reducing wear during high-activity use. For a watch worn by someone who performs on stage regularly, that’s a relevant engineering choice.
Secondary market value sits between $270,000 and $400,000 depending on condition and provenance.
The RM 030 also uses a proprietary strap system. Rubber B does not currently make a strap for this reference.
Rolex Yacht-Master 126655 – Rose Gold, Discontinued 2024

The Rolex Yacht-Master 126655 in Everose gold is one of the most wearable luxury sport watches Rolex ever produced – and one of the most collectible now that it has been discontinued. Rolex quietly pulled the 126655 from production in 2024, immediately making existing examples more sought after on the secondary market.
The 126655 features a 40mm Everose gold Oyster case, a chocolate brown Oysterflex bracelet from the factory, and a bidirectional rotatable bezel with a rubber-coated insert – Rolex’s own acknowledgment that rubber belongs on a sport watch. The movement is the Calibre 3235, offering 70 hours of power reserve and Rolex’s Chronergy escapement.
Brown has been photographed with the Yacht-Master on multiple occasions. It’s the most wearable piece in his collection – the one that goes on a plane, to a studio session, to a dinner.
Rubber B makes straps for the Rolex Yacht-Master 40mm. The Blocked Integration fit works seamlessly with the Oyster bracelet lug architecture.

Rolex Sky-Dweller 326938 – Yellow Gold
The Rolex Sky-Dweller 326938 is the most technically complex watch in Rolex’s catalog. It features an annual calendar – one of only a handful of Rolex movements to do so – displayed through a ring command bezel system that allows the wearer to set three different functions using the crown and bezel in combination. The 18-karat yellow gold case and champagne dial make this a dressed-up piece, but the complication underneath is pure tool watch engineering.
The Sky-Dweller is a natural choice for a touring artist. The dual time zone display keeps home time visible at all times – relevant when you’re moving between Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo in the same month.

The 326938 retails at approximately $52,000. Secondary market values have held steady given the complexity of the movement and the prestige of the yellow gold configuration.
Rubber B makes straps for the Rolex Sky-Dweller on an Oyster Bracelet. The VulChromatic dual-color options work particularly well on the yellow gold case.

Rolex Yacht-Master 116688 – Yellow Gold, Limited 20 Pieces

The 116688 is the rarer of Brown’s two Yacht-Master references. Produced in a limited run of just 20 pieces, the 116688 features an 18-karat yellow gold case with a diamond-set bezel – a configuration that sits firmly in collector territory rather than everyday wear. Secondary market value ranges from $170,000 to $180,000.
This is the piece that signals Brown isn’t just buying watches because he can afford them. A 20-piece limited Yacht-Master in yellow gold with diamonds is a purchase that requires knowing what you’re looking for.
Rubber B makes straps for the Rolex Yacht-Master 40mm, compatible with the 116688 lug configuration.

Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph 5980/1R:

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/1R is the most coveted chronograph in the Nautilus line. The 5980 features an integrated flyback chronograph – a complication that allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted in a single pusher operation rather than the standard three-step process. It is housed in an 18-karat rose gold case with the signature Nautilus porthole bezel and horizontal embossed dial.
The 5980/1R was discontinued by Patek Philippe in 2021 as part of the broader Nautilus line restructuring that followed the discontinuation of the 5711. Discontinued references in rose gold with original papers now trade significantly above retail – confirmed examples in collector-grade condition regularly exceed $150,000 on the secondary market.
For a collector who owns a Richard Mille RM 51-01, the 5980/1R is the Patek equivalent – technically exceptional, extremely limited in availability, and appreciating in value.
Rubber B makes an extensive range of straps for the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980, including the SwimSkin Alligator, Camo Series, and GoldMatic options.

Chris Brown’s Watch Collection: What It Says About His Taste
Brown’s collection follows a consistent logic – every piece is either technically extreme, culturally iconic, or both. There are no filler watches. The RM 51-01 is one of 50 ever made. The 116688 Yacht-Master is one of 20. The 5980/1R Nautilus is discontinued and climbing in value. Even the AP Royal Oak Chronograph and the Sky-Dweller are references that serious collectors pursue.
What’s notable is the balance between wearability and investment. The Yacht-Master 126655 and the Sky-Dweller are watches you actually wear on tour, on planes, in the studio. The RM 51-01 and the limited Yacht-Master are pieces you keep, display, and let appreciate.
For collectors inspired by his taste, Rubber B makes precision-fit rubber straps for the AP Royal Oak, the Rolex Yacht-Master, the Rolex Sky-Dweller, and the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980. Each strap uses Blocked Integration technology – engineered to fit flush against the case with no gaps and no generic sizing. Swiss made, to the same standard as the watches themselves.
