How does it work?
Once you receive your RB Connected strap, you can activate it by linking it to your preferred payment source using the correct mobile app (OneOS alone for US bank customers, OneOS plus the Curve Wallet for UK & Europe customers). NOTE: It can take up to 3 business days for your initial funding to appear on your strap account.
Once your strap has been funded in the app, simply hold your watch close to any NFC-enabled payment terminal to make contactless payments. No phone or wallet needed. The strap is fully waterproof for swimming, diving, vigorous exercise, or any other typical active daily wear.
What is RB Connected?
RB Connected is a revolutionary rubber strap for Rolex watches embedded with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. It acts just like a credit card, letting you make tap-to-pay transactions directly from your watch band, combining luxury with seamless payment convenience.
Do I need to charge the strap?
No, the strap uses passive NFC technology, which means it draws power from the payment terminal during transactions. There are no batteries or charging requirements.
Where are payments accepted?
You can use RB Connected straps anywhere contactless payments are accepted, including retail stores, restaurants, public transportation, and more.
Rubber B marks the strap with a chip icon on the inside (belly) of the strap to indicate where the chip is embedded.
The chip is positioned at the top of the strap, near the “T”, aligned with 12 o’clock—the same direction the watch logo faces.
This placement ensures the chip sits on the outer side of the wrist, making tap-to-pay easy and reliable whether worn on the left or right hand, with a natural angle toward the payment terminal.
