Jennifer Aniston’s Rolex Collection says quite a bit about the former “Friends” star and A-list actress. As we delve into her collection, we reveal not only her specific style but her actual love for classic Rolex timepieces. Although she owns other timepieces like Cartier, she is most often seen wearing a variety of Rolex watches which nearly anyone can buy. Unlike some superstars who may dig into Rolex history and don vintage Rolex gems like hard to find vintage Daytona’s from the ’60s and 70’s, Aniston is often found wearing new Rolexes made today.Â
Before we talk about Jennifer Aniston’s Rolex Collection, let’s just look at the A-list status of Jennifer Aniston. Obviously any fans of the long-running TV show Friends (1994-2004) would know Aniston as the now-famous Rachel Green – a comedic character who was at times ditsy and caught up in her own self-created “situations.” The romance between her and doting David Schwimmer’s “Ross” created much of the comedic arc across the 10-year stretch. Â
Aniston went on to have a very successful film career where she not only acted but also produced films such as Bruce Almighty, Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers, and many others. She had a much-publicized marriage and divorce with the equally famous Brad Pitt – who also has his own rival set of Rolexes that compete well against Jennifer Aniston’s Rolex collection. It is unknown who got whom into collecting Rolexes first. Aniston was also in a relationship with John Mayer who is also a Rolex collector of the purest sense. Mayer has an extensive collection of both new and vintage Rolexes and speaks often about his Rolex hobby.
Jennifer Aniston’s Rolex Collection
In the picture above Aniston is wearing a Gold men’s Rolex Presidential Day-Date on an original Rolex strap in New York City on January 21, 2015, on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’. This is a prized possession and gets its “presidential” moniker from being worn by several US presidents and other presidents worldwide. This is truly a masterpiece and an exceptional choice by Aniston.
The Presidential Day-Date was a first in horological design when Rolex released in 1956. It was the first watch to indicate the day of the week spelled out in full at the 12 o’clock position, while also showing the date window at the 3 o’clock position. Â
Aniston selected the champagne dial version of this timepiece. It has a fluted bezel which originally helped to screw the bezel onto the case creating better waterproofness, however today it adds to the exceptional beauty by reflecting light off of its ridges. This timepiece has a 36 mm case which is still considered a man’s watch. The woman’s Day-Date is only 28 mm. The presidential bracelet, case, and hour markers are in 18-carat yellow gold. Â
The new Day-Date reference 128238 has a new caliber 3255 with an expanded power reserve to 70 hours. It is built with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring oscillator and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers to withstand shock while keeping its precision to -2/+2 seconds per day. It has a self-winding rotor that works in both directions. The twin lock double waterproofness system and sapphire crystal give the timepiece a waterproofness to 330 feet.Â
Aniston is seen wearing a salmon dial Rolex Datejust in the picture above. Although the exact salmon dial isn’t available today, a very close sister to the salmon Datejust is available with a pink dial with Rolex embossed across the face. This Datejust also has a 36 mm case and has a mixture of both Oystersteel and 18 ct white gold throughout. The hour markers are diamond with white gold trim, with the exception of 12 o’clock which has an 18 karats white gold Rolex crown, and at 3 o’clock which has the date aperture.
Similar to Jennifer Aniston’s Day-Date, reference 126234 has a new movement powered by the caliber 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve. She seems to admire the steel men’s watch with a 36 mm size. Certainly, the salmon and diamonds give it a feminine look to it and so it could clearly be considered unisex or a case could be made that it is both feminine and masculine. The larger sizes seem to fit Aniston’s wrist and easygoing and comfortable style to perfection.

The above-pictured Rolex Milgauss has been modified with PVD coating on both the case and the bracelet. Modified Rolex timepieces have become popular in the past few years, but it takes an exceptional technician to take a Rolex and be bold enough to make such enhancements without affecting the beauty of the timepiece itself. This is one of Aniston’s Oystersteel bracelets. It is larger than her normal 36 mm timepiece, as the Milgauss is a beefy 40 mm. Even on Aniston’s extremely slender wrist, the Milgauss seems to slide more like a bracelet than a watch.
Powered by a 3131 caliber the Milgauss only has a 48-hour power reserve but is still an exceptional beauty with its touches of orange and green on both the hour markers and on the second’s hand. The PVD gives a matching black color to the black dial of the timepiece and increases the elegance of the timepiece with Aniston’s little black dress.
Jennifer Aniston selected this Rolex Datejust timepiece as a nice daily watch to wear with just about anything. The white dial and Roman Numeral hour markers look exceptional with this Oystersteel and White Gold Presidential Band and fluted stainless steel bezel. This is certainly a great everyday watch and can be worn with nearly any outfit. It isn’t so over the top that it would be considered too rich because the price of this timepiece is one of the most reasonable in Jen’s collection.
However, it features some of Jen’s favorite combinations. She opted for the 36 mm version of this classic Rolex, and a Jubilee band which illustrates the beauty of the Rolex craft – not just on the timepiece itself but also on the band that adorns it.
Powered by a caliber 3235 with a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, this timepiece packs a punch. It has a 70-hour power reserve and 330 feet of waterproofness. Jennifer Aniston is clearly not just an accomplished actress and producer but also is showing promise as a solid watch collector as well.
