The most highly collectable watches from Rolex, are those which were produced in honor of various organizations, usually in limited quantities. One of the rarest models that Rolex created for an organization, was the Rolex FAP Daytona Ref. 6263, a branch of the Peruvian military, between the Peruvian army and navy. These timepieces were used by pilots and officers.
The Fuerza Aerea del Peru (FAP) is engraved around the edge of the case back with a rotary cutter. In addition, this watch has crisp lugs and screw down pushers, along with an Oyster bracelet. The Rolex Daytona FAP has an estimated value of $22,000 to $45,000.
