In certain corners of the horology world, this event is referred to as the “Super Bowl of watches,” and the name is not really an exaggeration. This is primarily because a large number of retailers who do not normally share space on the same stage together will be in the same place at the same time.

Where Will Watches And Wonders 2021 Be Taking Place?
Watches and Wonders 2021 will actually be taking place in two stages this year due to the pandemic. The first portion of the event, which is digitally based, will be broadcast from Geneva, Switzerland. 38 of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers will be presenting their most anticipated watches to media and other retailers from around the world.
The in-person portion of Watches and Wonders 2021 will be taking place in Shanghai, China, where an additional 19 exhibitors will be unveiling new timepieces for the first time. This event will also be notable because several first-time exhibitors will be appearing at the event, such as Chopard, Montblanc, Rolex, Tudor, and Ulysse Nardin. The appearance of Rolex is especially notable, as their annual Bezelworld event is often seen as a competitor to Watches and Wonders each year.
When Will Watches And Wonders 2021 Be Taking Place?
Because they are being presented on two different platforms, virtually and in person, Watches and Wonders will be taking place across two weeks. The virtual portion of the program is happening first and will run from April 7th to April 13th. The in-person portion of the event begins immediately afterward and will run from April 14th to April 18th.
