Ahead of Baselworld 2016, Rolex has released its new 2016 model for their iconic Cosmograph Daytona. This model (116500 LN) pays homage to the 1965 version in design, with a white dial and black ceramic monobloc Cerachrom bezel, which is patented by the watchmaker.
The case measures 40mm in diameter and is equipped with a 4130 movement that is completely manufactured by Rolex. This impressive timepiece has a power reserve of 72 hours and is waterproof up to 100 meters. The case and oyster bracelet are made of Rolex’s 904L stainless steel alloy.
This updated version of the Daytona is a very clean, modern take on the model that still looks like a classic. The combinations of black and white on the dial and the bezel with the stainless steel case and bracelet are a welcomed addition to the Daytona model.
The new Daytona is also available in white gold with a blue dial (116509), white gold with a black dial (116500LN) and yellow gold with a green (116508).
