Protected by 14 patents, Rolex’s Sky-Dweller model is the most complicated of their current collection. The case measures 42mm in diameter and is equipped with a 9001 self-winding mechanical movement manufactured by the watchmaker in house. A Saros Annual Calendar offers a reliable date function that differentiates between months with 31 and 30 days. Its fluted Ring Command bezel can be turned to three positions to adjust the date, local time or reference time.
Only available in precious metal configurations, the Sky-Dweller comes in Everose, white or yellow gold on either a leather strap or Oyster bracelet. Designed with both luxury and utility in mind, this timepiece combines characteristics of Rolex’s professional models with the classical aesthetic of their dress watches. Its size puts it just larger than most of their 40mm models and smaller than the 44mm Deepsea, while the use of precious metals and design elements such as a fluted bezel make it an interesting alternative to those who like the look of models like the Day-Date.
In our e-Boutique, we offer several VulChromatic rubber strap options for the Sky-Dweller model, like the Jet Black and Red Devil strap shown in the above photo. While the black and red look fantastic on the white gold configuration, we also offer Chocolate Brown and Red Devil straps that compliment the Everose gold version, compatible with Sky-Dweller models that come on leather straps originally and incorporate its Deployant clasp.
The Sky-Dweller is a truly unique and innovative wristwatch and we are happy to offer straps for it that are designed and manufactured in Switzerland.
