The Rolex Yachtmaster 35mm reference 168622 combines a stainless-steel case with a platinum rotatable time-lapse bezel. The beauty of the platinum is followed through on the dial where the luminescent hour markers are surrounded by the premium metal. The combination of 904L stainless steel and platinum, “Rolesium,” is a patented design by Rolex. The case is a diminutive 35mm, making it a perfect watch for smaller wrist sizes for both men and women.
The bezel has a 60-minute timing mechanism, designed to synch to starting race times. The screw down crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal provide a waterproofness to approximately 300 feet. The crystal has a lens over the 3 o’clock date window to provide additional visibility.
