President and founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf wanted to create a watch that wasn’t only suitable for use in the water, but also functioned as an elegant timepiece. That’s where The Rolex Submariner plays its role:  “The diver’s best friend”

Introduced over 60 years ago, the Rolex Submariner has achieved continuous evolution over decades. Always keeping quality, Rolex updated this model four years ago. One of the differences is a new ceramic bezel  with a Glidelock Clasp for easy adjustments.

Some of the features of these Submariner timepieces are water resistance via an  Oyster-case with screw down crown, large luminous hands and indexes, and a rotating bezel with markers about 5 minutes apart.

Rolex offered Three different Submariner models:

* Submariner reference 6200- With self-winding caliber; A.296 movement and water resistant of 200 meters.

* Submariner reference 6204- With 100 meter resistance (later on 180 meters)

* Submariner reference 6205- With self-winding movement caliber; A.260 and water resistance 100 meters.
