The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Pirelli – Automatic Skeleton – Reference RDDBEX0705 is influenced by the Pirelli white coloring. It is one of the few timepieces to be 100 percent skeletonized from the case to the movement. It utilizes the astral skeleton signature found in many of the Excalibur models. It is produced in limited edition with only 88 pieces being manufactured.
Powered by an automatic micro-rotor – a caliber RD820SQ self-winding mechanism – it supports a power reserve of up to 60 hours. The timepiece is stamped by the Poinçon de Genève seal of quality. The timepiece supports 50 meters of water resistance.
The 45 mm case is made from black DLC titanium. The dial is black and has touches of white on the dial and on the winding crown. The rhodium plated hour markers are filled with white luminous SLN. The hands are 18k gold but made with black PVD and white luminescent tips.
The strap is a bi-material with black rubber base and black Pirelli tire rubber inlay with white stitching. The clasp is made from black DLC titanium and has an adjustable folding buckle and quick release system.
Rubber B collaborated with Roger Dubuis to design the official bracelet collection for the RDDBEX0705. This Vulcanized Rubber strap is specifically engineered for the 45mm case and deployment clasp with the “quick-release” system. All Rubber B straps are made in Switzerland utilizing pure, natural vulcanized rubber with no coatings or blends.
The engineered blocked integration creates a rotation-free mount. The strap can also integrate perfectly with the original Roger Dubuis deployant buckle. Above we see two straps – one with white rubber and red stitching, and one with yellow rubber and yellow stitching. Many more coloring options are available.
The Lamborghini look of these designer bands are unique and spectacular and clearly matches the white throughout the timepiece. For more information and many more coloring options for these bands, visit our page here.
